Microsoft Exchange Emails to the TEG

Using the Exchange Server to auto forward emails to the Teldio Gateway via IP.

Here’s how you can set up an auto-forwarding rule using Microsoft Exchange Server to send emails directly to the Teldio Edge Gateway via IP

Steps for Microsoft Exchange Server

  1. Access the Exchange Admin Center:

  2. Add a New Connector:

    • Once on the Connector page, click on "Add a connector" to start creating a new connector.

  3. Name the Connector:

    • Provide a meaningful name for the connector. This could be something like "Teldio Gateway Connector."
  4. Use of Connector:

    • Specify the purpose of this connector. In this case, it’s to route emails to the Teldio Edge Gateway.

  5. Route Email:

    • Set the route for the email to be the IP address of the Teldio Gateway.

  6. Security Restrictions:

    • Turn off security restrictions for this connector. This allows the connector to function without being blocked by security settings.

  7. Validation Email:

    • Set a validation email to test the connector's functionality. For example, you could use test@teldio.com.

  8. Review the Connector Flow:

    • Review all the settings and ensure everything is correctly configured before finalizing the setup.
  9. Set Up Mail Flow Rules:

    • In the Exchange Admin Center, navigate to Mail Flow in the left-hand menu and then select Rules.

Steps for Teldio Edge Gateway

Inside the Teldio Edge Gateway, navigate through the Settings, Add Module and search for SMTP Server (Incoming). Click the ADD button.

After selecting the module, you will be prompted to configure its settings.
Ensure that the TCP Port is set to 25.

Once you have configured all the necessary settings, click the Save button to apply the changes.
