Initial Device Configuration
Teldio will normally pre-configure your device prior to shipment. If Teldio has pre-configured the system, then you can skip to the 'IP Configuration' section.
- Access the HT813 by plugging into the LAN port. By default the IP for the HT813 is configured for 192.168.2.1. Login with the following credentials:
- username: admin
- password: admin
- Once logged in, from the 'Status' page, note down the Device Mac of the system, but remove the semicolons

- for example, the MAC address for this system would be C074ADAAA04C
- for example, the MAC address for this system would be C074ADAAA04C

- Download the file at HT813_config.xml and open it in a text editor
- Change the MAC value in the file to the value that was written down in step 2 and save the file.
- Click on the ADVANCED SETTINGS tab, and scroll down to the bottom. Click on the button next to Upload Configuration, and then select the edited HT813_config.xml file and upload the configuration
IP Configuration
After the configuration is applied, update the following IP Address locations for the HT813 and Teldio Edge Gateway that will be integrated.
Setting the Grandstream IP
- Access the HT813 by plugging into the LAN port. By default the IP for the HT813 is configured for 192.168.2.1. Login with the following credentials:
- username: admin
- password: admin
- Go to 'Basic Settings' and scroll down to the following section and change the values to the Grandstream's assigned IP address.
- While still on the Basic Settings page, scroll down to the very bottom and change the following value to the IP assigned to the Teldio Edge Gateway.
- Click the Update Button at the bottom of the screen.
- Go to 'FXO Port' section and change the following values to the IP assigned to the Teldio Edge Gateway.
- Click the Update Button at the bottom of the screen.
- Click the Apply Button at the bottom of the screen and then when prompted, press Reboot. The Grandstream will not reboot and will be accessible on the WAN port via the IP set in step 2.
Teldio Edge Gateway Configuration
- Login to the Teldio Edge Gateway with the Teldio provided Credentials
- If not already added, add the SIP Telephony module to the system
- Go to the Telephony section under Settings/Telephony and then open the sip.conf file by clicking the edit button.
- In the file, find the section named ht813 and uncomment the section.
- Enter the IP address of the Grandstream device in the host field and then press save. The section of the sip.conf should look like below, where 192.168.217.162 is the IP of your Grandstream.

If using the Grandstream with the “Phone Alerts” module, set the “Channel tech/resource prefix” to name given in the sip.conf file. For the example above, set it to: SIP/ht813

IMPORTANT: Plug telephone cable ONLY into the FXO port. The FXS port is not used in TEG deployments.
